Outreach

Schools and other groups are always welcome at the museum either in or out of opening hours.  Please book in advance.  There is a special group admission rate.  Guided tours or talks can also be arranged.

The museum's events programme includes children's activities during school holidays, arts or history events run in conjunction with other local groups and social and fundraising events organised by the Friends of the Museum.

The museum outreach service takes reminiscence boxes, slides and other material out to those who are unable to make a visit.
